Stir-Fried Shrimp and Potatoes with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon ground red chili
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 small tomato
  • Cooking oil
  • Water as needed
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Sliced spices

  • 5 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 red chilies
  • 10 green chilies
  • 1 piece ginger

Preparation

  1. Heat cooking oil and add the sliced spices, cook until fragrant.

  2. Add the ground red chili and stir well.

  3. Add the shrimp and potatoes, stir again.

  4. Add water as needed, sugar, salt, oyster sauce, and soy sauce, then cook until slightly reduced.

  5. Finally, add the green onion and tomato.

  6. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

  7. Turn off the heat when done.
