Salted Fish with Sambal
Ingredients
- 250 grams salted fish
- 8 red chilies
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 shallots
- 1/4 onion
- Thumb-sized galangal
- 1 tomato
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Seasoning to taste
Preparation
Wash the salted fish, fry it until crispy, and set aside.
Blend the red chilies, garlic, shallots, onion, galangal, and tomato until smooth.
Fry the sambal mixture in 2 tablespoons of oil until cooked and slightly dry.
Add sugar, salt, and seasoning to taste, and adjust the flavor.
Mix in the fried fish and stir until well combined.
Serve immediately.
