Indonesian Stir-Fried Rice Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 blocks of flat rice noodles
- 1 egg
- Vegetables as desired
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt to taste
- Powdered stock to taste
- Pepper to taste
Ground spices
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 cloves shallots
Preparation
Boil the flat rice noodles for 2-3 minutes and drain.
Grind the ground spices into a paste.
Sauté the spice paste until fragrant, then add the egg and scramble it.
Add the vegetables, salt, powdered stock, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili sauce; stir until the vegetables are wilted.
Add the cooked noodles and cook until the flavors are absorbed.
Adjust seasoning to taste and remove from heat.
