Beef and Petai Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 150g thinly sliced beef
- 3 packs peeled petai
- 6 corn kernels sliced diagonally
- 4 shallots sliced
- 2 garlic cloves sliced
- 1 large red chili sliced (optional: use bird's eye chili for spice)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Water to taste
Preparation
Wash the beef, slice it thinly, season with soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, and cornstarch, mix well, and set aside for 30 minutes.
Sauté the onions, garlic, and chili until fragrant, then add the beef and stir-fry until it changes color.
Add the petai and corn kernels, season with sugar, salt, oyster sauce, and water as needed.
Taste, cook until the liquid reduces and the flavors are absorbed, then serve.
