Indonesian Butter Chicken Stir-Fry
Ingredients
Marinade
- 500 grams chicken thigh fillet
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- A pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
Other
- 2-3 tablespoons margarine
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 large onion
Preparation
Wash the chicken clean, drain it, then mix with oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Melt the margarine. Add the chicken and cook until the color changes. Add garlic and onion, and stir well.
Add all the sauce ingredients, cook until the seasoning is absorbed (the margarine will become clear when the seasoning has been absorbed). Taste and adjust seasoning, then remove from heat and serve.
Notes
Marination can be done overnight for better flavor.
The margarine becoming clear indicates that the sauce has been fully absorbed into the chicken.
