Homemade Indonesian Black Pepper Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 150 ml broth
- 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
Preparation
Sauté garlic and onion in margarine until fragrant, then add oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce; stir well.
Add broth, salt, and sugar; cook until boiling, then add black pepper.
Pour in the cornstarch mixture, stir, taste and adjust seasoning, let it boil again, then remove from heat.
