Stir-Fried Meatballs with Broccoli and Black Pepper
Ingredients
- 2 broccoli heads
- 10 beef meatballs
- 3 tomatoes
Spices
- 1 full tablespoon baceman bawang
- 1 onion
- 1 green onion stalk
- 2 red chilies
- 10 bird's eye chilies
- 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Stock powder to taste
- Cornstarch slurry to taste
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Preparation
Cut broccoli into florets, soak in warm salted water, then rinse clean and mix the sauce ingredients together.
Stir-fry the baceman bawang with onion until fragrant, then add beef meatballs and stir until well mixed.
Add a little water, then add chilies and broccoli.
Add the sauce mixture and season with black pepper, sugar, salt, pepper, and stock powder; adjust the taste.
Finally, add tomato pieces, green onion, and thicken with cornstarch slurry.
Remove from heat and serve.
