Mini Indonesian Egg Martabak

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 150g ground beef, stir-fried or corned beef
  • 6 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • Sliced cabbage, as needed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt and beef bouillon powder, to taste
  • A little seasoning, optional

Wrappers and oils

  • Lumpia wrappers, as needed
  • Cooking oil, as needed

Accompaniments

  • Cuko sauce
  • Cucumber and onion pickle

Preparation

  1. Mix all main ingredients together.

  2. Heat oil in a Teflon pan.

  3. Place 1 sheet of lumpia wrapper.

  4. Add 2-3 tablespoons of egg mixture.

  5. Fold into a half circle.

  6. Fry over low-medium heat until cooked.

  7. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used.

  8. Serve warm with accompaniments.

Notes

  1. This dish is a budget-friendly option for breaking fast and can use corned beef for economy.

  2. Cuko sauce and cucumber pickle are served alongside and may be prepared separately.
