Crispy Tempe with Salted Egg Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 large block of tempe, cut into pieces
Marinade
- 1 packet fried tempe seasoning mix
- Water as needed
Dry coating
- All-purpose flour
- Versatile seasoning flour
- Sago flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Sauce
- 3 cooked salted egg yolks
- UHT milk as needed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt as needed
Preparation
Mix the marinade ingredients together, then soak the cut tempe for about 30 minutes, then drain.
Mix the dry coating ingredients evenly, add the tempe and stir until evenly coated, then sift to remove excess flour, fry until crispy, remove and drain from oil, and set aside.
Mix the salted egg yolks and milk, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add the egg and milk mixture, stir well, add salt as needed, adjust taste, and turn off the stove.
Arrange the fried tempe on a serving plate, drizzle with the salted egg sauce, and serve.
