Easy Crispy Fried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 250g shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
  • Lime juice
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

Batter

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 3 tablespoons flour for coating

Preparation

  1. Clean the shrimp, then marinate with lime juice, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes.

  2. Dip the shrimp into the batter mixture.

  3. Roll in dry flour while pinching and set aside.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the shrimp over medium heat until golden brown, then remove.
