Easy Indonesian Crispy Tofu
Ingredients
- 12 pieces white tofu
- 50 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon tapioca
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Mushroom stock powder
- 300 ml water
- Oil for frying
Preparation
Cut the tofu into 4 parts.
Mix flour, tapioca, baking powder, salt, ground pepper, and water until well combined.
Add tofu to the batter and stir to coat.
Drain the tofu, then fry in very hot oil until dry.
Pour the remaining batter over, stir until it sticks and the tofu is dry, repeat 2-3 times.
Remove from oil and serve.
