Crispy Fried Baby Fish
Ingredients
- 250 g baby carp
- Juice of 1 lime
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 celery stalks
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg
- 100 ml water
- Oil for frying
Preparation
Marinate the baby fish with lime juice for 10 minutes, then rinse.
Mix the all-purpose flour, rice flour, garlic, celery, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Add the egg and water, and stir until well combined.
Heat the oil. Dip each fish into the batter, then fry in the oil until golden brown and cooked. Remove from oil.
Tips
This dish is suitable as a side dish or snack. It can be dipped in chili sauce for extra flavor.
