Homemade Chicken Gyoza Dumplings

Ingredients

Dough

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 125ml water
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Filling

  • 250g minced chicken breast
  • 2 finely sliced green onions
  • 3 grated garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix all dough ingredients and knead until smooth, then roll out and cut into circles before dusting with flour to prevent sticking.

  2. Combine all filling ingredients and mix well.

  3. Place filling on a dough wrapper, brush edges with water, seal and shape with fingers, and repeat with remaining ingredients.

  4. Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil, add the gyoza, cook until the bottom is golden, add half a cup of water, cover, reduce heat, and cook until the water evaporates and the bottom is crispy, then remove and serve with sauce as desired.

Tips

  1. This recipe can be prepared in advance and stored in the freezer for future use.
