Easy Crispy Heart-Shaped Waffle Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 medium egg
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 150 g unsalted butter, softened
- a pinch of salt
- butter or oil for greasing the waffle iron
Chocolate dipping
- 200 g chocolate, melted
Preparation
Knead flour, egg, sugar, butter, and salt into a smooth dough. Take small portions of dough and roll into balls with your hands
Preheat the heart-shaped waffle iron and grease both sides with butter or oil. Preheat to medium heat
Place one dough ball on the waffle iron and close. Bake for about 2 minutes, checking often until lightly browned. Remove with a spatula and let cool on a plate
Chocolate dipping
Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Dip cooled cookies halfway into the melted chocolate and let set on parchment paper
