Indonesian Steamed Banana Nogosari
Ingredients
- 200 g rice flour
- 100 g tapioca starch
- 130 g granulated sugar
- 750 ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pandan leaves
- Kepok bananas
- Banana leaves as needed
Preparation
Boil the coconut milk with pandan leaves, sugar, and salt, stirring until it boils, then remove and let it cool.
Mix the rice flour and tapioca starch with the cooled coconut milk mixture, stir until smooth, and cook on the stove while stirring until thickened, then remove and let it cool.
Take a banana leaf, place 2 tablespoons of the batter on it, add a halved banana as filling, roll gently and fold the ends, repeat until all batter and bananas are used, and steam for 30 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
It is ready to serve.
