Fried Wontons with Chicken and Shrimp
Ingredients
- 150 g ground chicken
- 150 g peeled and chopped shrimp
- 1 tablespoon egg white
- 2 stalks green onion, white part thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 25 wonton wrappers, ready to use
- Egg white (remaining for sealing)
- Cooking oil for frying
Preparation
Mix all ingredients except the wonton wrappers until well combined.
Take a wonton wrapper, add the filling, fold it, and seal with egg white to prevent it from opening. Repeat until all filling is used.
Fry the wontons in hot oil over low heat until golden brown and cooked. Remove and drain.
The fried wontons are ready to serve.
