German No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Cake

Ingredients

  • 600 g bittersweet chocolate
  • 200 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 package (200g) butter biscuits

Preparation

  1. Line a 30x11 cm loaf pan with parchment paper, cutting slits in the corners for a snug fit

  2. Chop the bittersweet chocolate and melt it with butter and honey in a double boiler, stirring until smooth

  3. Spread a thin layer of the chocolate mixture over the bottom of the pan

  4. Arrange a single layer of butter biscuits over the chocolate

  5. Repeat layers of chocolate mixture and biscuits, ending with a chocolate layer, until the pan is nearly full (up to 10 layers total)

  6. Refrigerate the dessert overnight until set

  7. Serve cold
