German No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Cake
Ingredients
- 600 g bittersweet chocolate
- 200 g butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 package (200g) butter biscuits
Preparation
Line a 30x11 cm loaf pan with parchment paper, cutting slits in the corners for a snug fit
Chop the bittersweet chocolate and melt it with butter and honey in a double boiler, stirring until smooth
Spread a thin layer of the chocolate mixture over the bottom of the pan
Arrange a single layer of butter biscuits over the chocolate
Repeat layers of chocolate mixture and biscuits, ending with a chocolate layer, until the pan is nearly full (up to 10 layers total)
Refrigerate the dessert overnight until set
Serve cold
