No-Bake Coconut Biscuit Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ground plain biscuits
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Filling

  • 2 cups fine coconut
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup dried milk
  • 1 cup kaymak
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

Preparation

  1. Get a 9-inch square pan and line it with aluminum foil

  2. In a deep bowl, put the biscuits, butter, and milk and mix with fingertips until a soft dough forms

  3. Put half the dough in the pan and press lightly to make an even layer

  4. For the filling, in a deep bowl, put coconut, sugar, dried milk, kaymak, rose water, and cardamom and mix with fingertips until well combined

  5. Spread the filling over the biscuit layer and spread the remaining dough, pressing lightly to hold the layers together

  6. Put in the fridge for several hours to set

  7. Hold the aluminum foil edges and remove from the pan

  8. Cut into desired shapes with a sharp knife
