Homemade Italian Pizza with Toppings

Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For rolling

  • 1/2 cup corn flour

Toppings

  • 250 grams mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese
  • Half a small sausage
  • 1 capsicum pepper
  • 3 green peppers
  • 8-9 mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup corn

Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Optional red pepper flakes

Preparation

  1. Place 3 cups of flour in a suitable bowl, add yeast, salt, and 1 cup of warm water, and begin kneading.

  2. Then add the remaining 0.5 cup of water to form a soft, sticky dough.

  3. Incorporate 1 tablespoon of olive oil to shape the dough, cover it, and let it rise for about 2 hours.

  4. Divide the risen dough into two equal parts, shape into balls, cover, and let rest.

  5. Chop the vegetables for the pizza.

  6. Sprinkle corn flour on the work surface.

  7. Stretch the dough by hand from the center, keeping the edges thicker.

  8. Transfer the dough to a baking tray, optionally inverting the tray.

  9. Spread the sauce over the dough.

  10. Add the toppings.

  11. Bake in a preheated fan oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

Tips

  1. If the sauce is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water.
