Easy Homemade Tuna Pizza
Ingredients
Dough
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons dry milk
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1 cup warm water
Filling
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 2 large cans tuna
- 1 can anchovy
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 3 medium tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup black or green olive slices
Preparation
In the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, milk, and oil, attach the dough hook and turn on medium speed while gradually adding water to form the dough, then knead on low speed for 4 or 5 minutes.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, oil the surface, cover with plastic, and put it in a warm place until it doubles in size.
Heat a wide skillet over medium heat, drain the tuna liquid, add onion and stir until slightly soft, then add garlic, bell pepper, tuna, anchovy, ketchup, hot sauce, tomatoes, salt, and pepper, and stir on medium heat for 1 or 2 minutes before putting the filling in a bowl to cool.
Get a pizza tray or a shallow tray.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a circle 1/4 centimeter thick.
Using a medium-sized round cookie cutter, cut the pizza dough into circles.
Place the circles in the tray with space between them.
Using a small spoon, spread the tuna mixture on the pizza pieces and distribute the olives.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown, then serve immediately.
