Easy Two-Ingredient No-Yeast Pizza Base
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon water (or as needed)
- pizza sauce and toppings as desired
Preparation
In a medium bowl, add flour, yogurt, and salt; mix thoroughly with a spoon without adding water yet. Once the yogurt is absorbed, add 1 tablespoon of water carefully, then knead until soft and elastic, adding extra flour if necessary.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin or hands, place it on a lined pizza tray or stone, then add pizza sauce, cheese, and desired toppings.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F or gas mark 6) for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted.
Tips
Do not add water until the yogurt is fully absorbed to avoid making the dough too wet.
This base does not require yeast and can be prepared quickly without proofing.
