Super Easy Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 heaped tablespoons (60g) self-raising flour (can be gluten-free with 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum)
  • 2 heaped tablespoons (40g) any grated cheese (can be vegan), plus extra for sprinkling on top
  • 2 tablespoons (50g) any plain yogurt (can be vegan)
  • 2 pinches of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit or gas mark 4.

  2. Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl until it gets clumpy.

  3. Use your hands to make a dough.

  4. Flour the kitchen surface and roll the dough into a rectangular loaf shape or any shape you want, then place into a small greased baking tin or on a baking tray.

  5. Sprinkle over more grated cheese.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes.

Tips

  1. Before baking, you can brush the top of the bread with egg wash or margarine and sprinkle on different cheese for an ultra cheesy, crunchy topping.

  2. It is best served straight away from the oven but can also be enjoyed sliced and toasted later.

  3. You can make rolls instead by splitting the mixture into balls and placing on a baking tray.
