Super Quick Lemonade Bread
Ingredients
- 50g self-raising flour (gluten-free if required)
- 4 tablespoons low calorie lemonade
- 3 tablespoons sweetener, sugar, or maple syrup
Preparation
Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4
Put everything into a bowl and mix with a spoon until combined and sticky
Shape into a round-ish form and place onto an oven tray lined with baking parchment
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Check it’s done by inserting a knife; if it comes out clean, it's ready
Notes
Expect a super light and fluffy texture
Sweetener can be substituted with sugar or maple syrup
Lemonade can be replaced with fizzy or sparkling water
Self-raising flour can be swapped with plain flour and a pinch of baking powder
