Apple Crisp Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g (1/2 cup) oats
- 1/2 apple, chopped, peeled and cooked
- 2 tbsp any yoghurt
- 1 tbsp sultanas
- 1 tbsp sweetener
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp hot water
Topping
- 1 oat biscuit, crushed or 1 tbsp granola
- extra yoghurt to serve
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
Put oats and hot water into a bowl, stir and leave to thicken for a couple of minutes.
Stir in all of the other ingredients until combined.
Pour mixture into a shallow oven-proof dish lined with baking parchment and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy for breakfast, snack or dessert with optional toppings.
Tips
When doubling the quantity for meal prep, leave in the oven a bit longer.
If saving for the next day or two, heat up in the microwave for a minute if you want it warm.
