Apple Pie Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 50g apple, chopped, peeled & cooked
- 50g any yoghurt (I use vanilla soya)
- 1 tbsp sultanas
- 1 tbsp sweetener
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp hot water
Preparation
Put oats and hot water into a bowl, stir and leave to thicken for a couple of minutes.
Add in all of the other ingredients and stir, making sure you cook the apple first so it is soft.
Pour mixture into a shallow oven-proof dish lined with baking parchment and bake in the oven for 30 minutes on 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
Cut into slices and enjoy for breakfast, snack or dessert. Keep in the fridge and you can freeze it too.
