Sausage Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 8 plant-based cocktail sausages
- 200g Spirelli pasta
- Water as needed
- 9 extra light cheese triangles
- 30g Italian hard cheese
- Mustard powder to taste
- Onion salt to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- 60g grated mozzarella
- 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
Preparation
Cook the sausages in the oven according to package instructions.
Boil the pasta in water for 6 minutes or until al dente.
Stir the cheese triangles, Italian hard cheese, mustard powder, onion salt, and garlic powder together to make the sauce.
Add the grated mozzarella at the end and stir gently without overmixing.
Combine the sauce with the pasta and sausages, and mix in the BBQ sauce before serving.
Tips
Avoid over-stirring the mozzarella to maintain its texture.
