Parmo Kievs with Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic kievs (Viva Vivera brand)
  • salad (optional, as desired)

Cheese sauce

  • 3 extra light cheese triangles (Laughing Cow)
  • 150ml water
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • garlic powder (to taste)
  • onion salt (to taste)

Topping

  • 15g Italian hard cheese (grated)
  • 30g Double Gloucester cheese (grated)

Preparation

  1. Oven cook the garlic kievs according to package instructions

  2. For the cheese sauce, combine cheese triangles and water in a pan, stirring until the cheese melts

  3. Mix cornflour with a little cold water to form a slurry, then add it to the bubbling cheese mixture and stir to thicken

  4. Add garlic powder and onion salt to the sauce, adjusting to taste

  5. Pour the cheese sauce over the cooked kievs

  6. Top with the grated Italian hard cheese and Double Gloucester cheese

  7. Return to the oven and bake for 6 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
