Sausage with Mash and Caramelised Onion Gravy
Ingredients
- 3 Vivera plant-based sausages
- Asda Marabel potatoes
- Chives
- Onion salt
- Brown onions
- Knorr mushroom stockpot
- Water
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- Tender stem broccoli
Preparation
Peel and dice the potatoes, then boil for 18 minutes.
Mash the boiled potatoes and mix with a little of the cooking water, chives, and a little onion salt.
Slice the brown onions and fry slowly with a lid on for 20 to 30 minutes to caramelise.
Dissolve the mushroom stockpot in water and add to the caramelised onions, then thicken with 1 tablespoon cornflour.
Cook the Vivera plant-based sausages until browned and done.
Boil the tender stem broccoli in salted water for 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve the sausages with mashed potatoes, caramelised onion gravy, and broccoli.

Use Asda Marabel potatoes for a buttery and creamy mash.
