Sweet and Sour Tofu Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/8 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon tomato purée
- 1/4 cup water
- some cornflour
- baked tofu
- cooked rice
- sesame seeds
Preparation
Mix together the sauce ingredients: 1/8 cup maple syrup, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari, 1 tablespoon tomato purée, and 1/4 cup water. Taste and add more ingredients if preferred.
Heat the sauce on the stove and add some cornflour to thicken it.
Stir in the baked tofu.
Serve over rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
