Taco Seasoned Mince Beef Pie with Eggs and Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 finely diced onion
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 500g 10% minced beef
- 3 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 120g grated cheddar
- 5 medium eggs
- 160ml double cream
Preparation
Fry 1 finely diced onion slowly in 1 tsp olive oil.
Add 500g 10% minced beef and fry until browned.
Add taco seasoning (3 tsp ground cumin, 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp salt), stir through the mince and onion until mixed in and cook for a couple of minutes.
Tip the mixture into an oven-proof dish.
Top with 120g grated cheddar.
Whisk 5 medium eggs with 160ml double cream and pour on top.
Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with salad and 2 tbsp Wicked Kitchen Dreamy Beetroot Dressing.
