No-Bake Truffles Inspired by Ferrero Rocher
Ingredients
- 150 g 85% dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp full fat coconut milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1-2 tsp instant coffee
- 3/4 cup hazelnut butter
- 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
- A few drops of vanilla extract
Preparation
Method
Roughly chop your chocolate and then chuck them into a glass bowl.
Place the bowl over a water bath and let the chocolate temper.
Next, warm up your coconut milk in a small pot and dissolve the instant coffee in it.
Slowly add your coffee mixture to the melted chocolate. Stir it until you get a smooth glossy ganache.
Next, add maple syrup, hazelnut butter and few drops of vanilla extract into the mixture.
Let your ganache come to room temperature. Then pop it into the fridge to set overnight.
Put 20 hazelnuts aside and chop the rest. Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts on a tray or clean baking sheet.
Make truffle balls by scooping out the ganache then flattening them. Place a hazelnut in the center and then roll it into a ball.
Serve it fresh or store it in an air-tight container.
