Plant-Based Cherry Chocolate Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk / cream (from the can, not BS ingredients or gums)
- 1/4 frozen avocado
- 1/4 cup frozen cherries
- 1/2 cup frozen veggies (zucchini or cauliflower)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp coconut butter
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
Optional add-ins
- Optional: @foursigmatic adaptogen blend
- Optional: protein powder of choice, such as @sproutliving pure pumpkin seed powder
Toppings
- @spreadthelove natural almond butter
- a few fresh cherries
- crumbled homemade beet energy bars
- cacao nibs
Preparation
Blend all base ingredients together until smooth
Add optional add-ins if desired and blend again if necessary
Pour into a bowl or glass, then top with almond butter, fresh cherries, beet energy bars, and cacao nibs before serving
