Bowl of Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Add oats, cinnamon, salt and milk to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Allow to cook for 10 minutes, stirring on occasion

  3. Add in chia seeds and feel free to sweeten however you prefer at this time

  4. Stir and allow to thicken for about 8-10 minutes

  5. Remove from stove top and stir once more before serving
