Homemade Veggie Patties with Spicy Tomato Dip
Ingredients
Veggie patties
- 40g spelt flour (or any wheat or gluten-free flour, except coconut or almond)
- 50g peas
- 50g black beans
- 50g sweet corn
- 50ml almond milk
Seasonings for patties
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
- Onion powder (to taste)
Spicy tomato dip
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- Chilli flakes (to taste)
- Cayenne pepper (to taste)
- Smoked paprika (to taste)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
Preparation
Mix all the veggie patty ingredients in a bowl.
Form the mixture into 3 equal patties.
Add seasonings to the patties to taste.
Place the patties on a non-stick baking tray.
Preheat oven to 180°C
Bake the patties until golden on each side, about 15 minutes per side
For the dip, mix tomato puree with the seasonings to taste
