Easy No-Bake Oat Balls for Kids
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup soft apple or other soft fruit (pear, banana, berries, etc)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter or other nut butter (sunflower butter works for nut-free zones)
- 1/4 cup raisins, chopped if your little one is younger (can sub with other diced dried fruit)
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
If using fresh fruit like apple, chop and microwave for 1 minute to soften.
Mix all ingredients together.
Form into balls of desired size, approximately smaller than a golf ball.
Wetting your hands can help with the stickiness.
Heather usually breaks them up as needed when serving to younger children.
You can freeze the balls and defrost them in the fridge for later use.
