Salted Caramel Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2-3 soft medjool dates
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder (totally optional)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mash up dates and set aside

  2. Add milk to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  3. Add in mashed dates, flax, oats, salt, butter/nut butter, maca and cinnamon

  4. Stir and allow oats to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until they are at the consistency you like

  5. Add an additional pinch of sea salt and serve
