Salted Caramel Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 2-3 soft medjool dates
- 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 tsp maca powder (totally optional)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
In a bowl, mash up dates and set aside
Add milk to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer
Add in mashed dates, flax, oats, salt, butter/nut butter, maca and cinnamon
Stir and allow oats to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until they are at the consistency you like
Add an additional pinch of sea salt and serve
