Banana Peanut Butter Oats with Cooked Pears
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 sliced banana or replace with 2 tsp sweetener
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- Salt to taste
- 1 pear, chopped
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
Add all oats ingredients to a saucepan, stir to combine, and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
Chop one pear into cubes.
Place the chopped pear in a pan with 2 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of cinnamon.
Sauté on low heat until the maple syrup coats the pears and they soften and brown.
Add the sautéed pears on top of the cooked oats.
