Banana Peanut Butter Oats with Sautéed Apples
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 sliced banana or replace with 2 tsp sweetener
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- Salt to taste
- 1 apple
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan, stir to combine, and allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes.
For the apples, chop one apple into cubes.
Place the chopped apple in a pan with 2 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of cinnamon.
Stir and sauté on low heat until the maple syrup coats the apples and they slightly soften and brown.
Add the sautéed apples on top of the oats.
