Banana Peanut Butter Oats with Sautéed Apples
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 sliced banana or 2 tsp sweetener
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- Salt to taste
Toppings
- 1 apple
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Blackberries
- Pepitas
- Dollop of chocolate tahini
Preparation
Add all base ingredients to a saucepan, stir to combine, and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
Chop one apple into cubes and place in a pan.
Sauté the apples with 2 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of cinnamon on low heat until softened, coated, and slightly browned.
Top the oats with the sautéed apples, blackberries, pepitas, and a dollop of chocolate tahini.
