Cacao Energy Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp tahini or peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 serving protein of choice
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened nut or seed milk
  • about 1 tsp peanut butter for the swirl

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend well until dough forms

  2. If it’s a little crumbly, add very small increments of nut mylk but keep in mind even the crumbly texture will harden in the fridge

  3. Press the dough into a bread pan or glass dish, about 1/4 inch thick

  4. Use the top of a spoon or a toothpick to swirl the peanut butter over top

  5. Refrigerate for at least 30-45 minutes, and keep stored in fridge (or can be kept in the freezer for freezer fudge)!
