Delicious Porridge with Oats, Quinoa, and Fresh Toppings
Ingredients
- 2/3 oats
- 1/3 quinoa flakes
- a couple of tablespoons milled flaxseed
- plant-based milk
- water
- chia berry jam
- blueberries
- banana
- almonds
- heaped teaspoon homemade cacao and orange almond butter
Preparation
Soak the mixture of 2/3 oats, 1/3 quinoa flakes, and a couple of tablespoons of milled flaxseed in plant-based milk.
Cook the soaked mixture using water.
Prepare the blueberry topping by heating a couple of handfuls of blueberries in a pan with 3 tablespoons of water until just before they pop.
Top the cooked porridge with chia berry jam, the heated blueberries, additional fresh blueberries, sliced banana, chopped almonds, and a heaped teaspoon of homemade cacao and orange almond butter.
