Delicious Porridge with Oats, Quinoa, and Fresh Toppings

Ingredients

  • 2/3 oats
  • 1/3 quinoa flakes
  • a couple of tablespoons milled flaxseed
  • plant-based milk
  • water
  • chia berry jam
  • blueberries
  • banana
  • almonds
  • heaped teaspoon homemade cacao and orange almond butter

Preparation

  1. Soak the mixture of 2/3 oats, 1/3 quinoa flakes, and a couple of tablespoons of milled flaxseed in plant-based milk.

  2. Cook the soaked mixture using water.

  3. Prepare the blueberry topping by heating a couple of handfuls of blueberries in a pan with 3 tablespoons of water until just before they pop.

  4. Top the cooked porridge with chia berry jam, the heated blueberries, additional fresh blueberries, sliced banana, chopped almonds, and a heaped teaspoon of homemade cacao and orange almond butter.
