Pork Confit with Spiced Marinade
Ingredients
- 1 pork belly
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp 5 berry mixture
- 1 tbsp fennel seed
- 4 leeks
- 250ml broth
- 1 glass white wine
Preparation
Combine the honey, soy sauce, paprika, ginger, 5 berry mixture, fennel seed, salt, and pepper to make a marinade.
Rub the marinade over the pork belly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Place the pork belly in a baking dish with olive oil, broth, white wine, and leeks.
Cook in the oven at 320°F for 3 hours.
