Baked Salmon with Honey Garlic Marinade
Ingredients
- 1 large salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili
- 1 tablespoon mustard paste
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Garnish
- Chopped parsley
Preparation
Bring an oven tray suitable for the size of the salmon piece
Place aluminum foil in the tray
Place a piece of parchment paper over the aluminum foil
Place the salmon on the parchment paper with the skin side down
Fold the aluminum foil and parchment paper to create a raised edge around the fillet to prevent the marinade from spilling
In a bowl, combine olive oil, honey, crushed garlic, black pepper, cumin, paprika, chili, mustard paste, salt, lemon zest, and lemon juice; mix well
Spread the marinade mixture over the salmon
Place it in the refrigerator for one hour without covering
Preheat the oven to 220°C, then bake the salmon for 20 minutes or until cooked and the surface is nicely browned
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve
