Honey and Garlic Baked Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 large salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili
- 1 tablespoon mustard paste
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Garnish
- chopped parsley
Preparation
Get a baking tray suitable for the size of the salmon piece.
Place aluminum foil in the tray.
Place a piece of parchment paper over the aluminum foil.
Place the salmon on the parchment paper with the skin side down.
Wrap the aluminum foil and paper to create a raised edge around the fillet to keep the marinade from spilling.
In a bowl, combine the oil, honey, garlic, pepper, cumin, paprika, chili, mustard, salt, lemon zest, and lemon juice; mix well.
Place the marinade mixture over the salmon.
Place it in the fridge for an hour without covering.
Preheat the oven to 220°C, then bake the salmon for 20 minutes or until cooked and the surface is golden brown.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
