Chocolate Tart Cake with Ganache
Ingredients
Cake
- 2 eggs
- 1 tea cup powdered sugar
- 1 tea cup cooking oil
- 1 tea cup hot water
- 1 baking powder
- 1 vanilla
- 1.5 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
Cream
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- half tea cup powdered sugar
- almost 1 tea cup flour
- 1 packet vanilla
Ganache
- 80 grams milk chocolate
- 100 grams cream
Decoration
- pistachio
- white chocolate
Preparation
Cake
Mix all cake ingredients to form a batter.
Pour the batter into a tart mold greased with butter or margarine.
Bake at 175°C until done.
Remove from mold and let cool.
Cream
Combine all cream ingredients except vanilla in a pot and cook over heat until it bubbles.
Optionally, blend for a smooth consistency.
Add vanilla and stir.
Ganache
Heat the cream until it reaches boiling point.
Add milk chocolate and stir until melted.
Assembly
Pour the cream onto the baked cake and let it cool.
Pour the ganache over the top.
Decorate as desired with pistachio and white chocolate.
