Homemade Sesame Cake with Saffron
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- several tablespoons sesame seeds
- a few strands saffron
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together to form a batter with a consistency that is not too thick or too thin.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for a gas oven or 150°C for an electric oven or toaster.
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes in a gas oven or 30-40 minutes in an electric oven until a wooden skewer comes out clean.
