Cornmeal Cake with Aniseed

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • 1.5 cups cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon aniseed

Preparation

  1. Blend the eggs, oil, and milk well in a blender.

  2. Gradually add the sugar, flour, and cornmeal while pulsing.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the baking powder and aniseed, then mix gently.

  4. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake in a medium oven for about 30 minutes.
