Creamy Cornmeal Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 50g grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Preparation

  1. Add eggs, butter, milk, sugar, cornmeal, sifted all-purpose flour, and grated parmesan cheese to a blender

  2. Blend well until the batter is homogeneous

  3. Turn off the blender and gently mix in the baking powder

  4. Pour the mixture into a 20cm diameter round baking pan greased with butter and dusted with cornmeal

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for approximately 40 minutes or until the cake is well browned

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before unmolding
