Simple Easter Celebration Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 heaping tablespoons margarine
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 heaping tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside
Beat egg yolks with margarine and sugar until well combined
Gradually add milk and flour while mixing continuously
Fold in the egg whites and baking powder
Pour into a large greased and floured tube pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven for approximately 40 minutes
The cake is done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean
