Simple Brazilian Corn Cake with Cinnamon
Ingredients
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping
- Sugar
- Ground cinnamon
Preparation
Blend milk, oil, corn, sugar, and eggs in a blender until smooth
In a bowl, sift together flour and cornstarch. Pour in the blended mixture and mix until combined
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 8-inch tube pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for about 40 minutes
Let cool completely in the pan, then unmold
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon
